I want to know if I’m the only one.
Like everyday until I was 19 and felt I was old enough to speak up. And even still pretty often after that.
this does define you. it defines if your a hardworker, lazy, perfectionist, carefree, etc. grades do matter. people should stop glorifying laziness.
hey there friend!! speaking as the person who posted this, i’d like you to stop and think about what this post really means. yes, grades are important in a lot of ways, but no test or quiz or homework or project grade is a definition of worth as a human being. you are so, so wrong when you say this does define someone. I am not glorifying laziness, I work hard in school, but no matter what, it will never be good enough. school literally caused me to have a mental breakdown bc all i would do is schoolwork and homework and get maybe 3 hours of sleep if i was lucky.
this isn’t saying, “don’t try at all in school” this post is saying, this does not define your worth, intelligence, abilities, aspirations, or potential.this post’s point is that one C doesn’t make you worth less, or not being good at chem or physics or trig doesn’t make you stupid. your grades don’t define your worth as a person, good or bad.
